he summer sun pounded upon the land of WadAsia, and the ice of the northern hemisphere slowly thawed...

Dripping and melting the glaciers receeded from the towns that they'd violently blanketed during the fierce storms of the winter...

As the sun cast down upon a small village to the north that revealed only dead bodies and tattered huts, the very tip of a sword began to emerge from the top of a very large chunk of ice...

Dripping down all sides, the ice slowly moved downward revealing the sword pointing straight up to the heavens... A very large and sharp sword being held by a hand!

As more ice melted, it discovered this hand was indeed that of a warrior... intact and in some sort of praying position kneeling upon a single knee and facing toward the gods...

This frozen figure, as the ice melted, was seen to be adorned in the finest of armors, and was obviously a great warrior before the great storm...

After this long day of heat, the sun began to head for the horizon to allow the darkness to again play in the night...

As the sun touched the land, the warrior suddenly gasped for a breath, sending the remaining ice on his body flying off of him...

Letting out a horrific scream, he shook the huts and caused the leaves on the trees to dance and the clouds disburse... He had awaken, and he was far from home...

A single amulet hung from his neck and glow in the setting sun's light... It had a single word etched upon it... this word was "Direwolf"

This warrior immediately headed toward the WadAsian castle where he would undoubtedly find warriors waiting for him to take his rank....

Upon his arrival the next morning, he found a large armored figure standing outside the castle... With sword in hand Sir Jeffulot boasted that he would crush the cold and worn out Direwolf and that he had no choice but to be beaten and embarrassed before his peers...

Lack of practice and the cold left the poor Direwolf defenseless against Sir Jeffulot's rage... Showing no mercy, Jeffulot thrashed him until he was worn and could not stand on his own two tired feet...

Poor Direwolf... Will he again be the great warrior he once was?

Only time shall tell...
